Leena Rinne, Vice President of Consulting at FranklinCovey
Topic: Are You Productive or Just Busy? How to Manage Your Day and Technology? Each day brings with it a new wave of urgencies that compete for our attention. Texts, emails, calls, meetings and more, all converge on our already full schedules. The result is a sense of being busy without actually being productive, which leaves us feeling burned out and unfulfilled. The sheer volume of daily distractions threatens our ability to think clearly and to make wise decisions about what is important.
This session will empower you with knowledge and tools to avoid distractions and to accomplish the goals that matter most in your professional and personal lives. Supported by research and decades of experience, The 5 Choices not only produce a measurable increase in productivity, but provide a renewed sense of engagement and accomplishment. About Leena Rinne Leena was part of the innovation team that developed FranklinCovey’s core productivity solution, The 5 Choices. Her area of interest focuses on how technology impacts productivity in today’s world. Leena was heavily involved with launching The 5 Choices, both in North America and around the world. Prior to FranklinCovey, Leena worked in management in the telecommunications industry, where she was the Director of Training and the Director of Customer Relations. Her responsibilities included managing both inbound customer care and high-level account management teams. She was also responsible for new hire and ongoing associate training as well as client training. Leena has a master’s degree in Economics from The University of Utah. With a strong love of music, Leena plays several instruments including the guitar, drums and the autoharp. A long-time marathon runner, she loves spending time outdoors in Salt Lake City Utah, where she lives with her husband David and their twin daughters. |
Scott Schuler, Royal Crown Diamond, USA
Topic: Your Purpose…What is it, How Do I Find it and How Will I Know When I Do?
About Scott Schuler Scott was very skeptical of essential oils when his wife Brenda first introduced them in 1999. He thought her experience with the oils was all in her head, but over time his own experiences with essential oils convinced him of the power contained in the little amber bottles. Not only did the business opportunity saved the family from going bankrupt, Scott was also able to retire from being a Chiropractor in 2010. The Schuler’s goal for themselves and their team is to challenge and inspire others through teamwork and resourcefulness, while being good teachers and even better students. Scott and Brenda are proud to support Young Living and are one of Young Living Foundation ambassadors. Young Living Foundation allows 100% of donations to help those in need. Their passion for the way that the Foundation is empowering lives inspired them to develop and manage the incredibly popular Ride for a Reason event which helps raise funds and awareness to help the Young Living Foundation rebuild Yarsa in Nepal after the massive 2015 earthquakes. |
